We were contacted by a Nashville resident who was tired of looking through purple windows.

The film that had been previously installed on our client’s windows had degraded so much that it was barely filtering out the sun, and they had become discolored, taking on a purple hue.  This is a fairly common issue that we run into, and we understand that as a homeowner, you typically want the benefit of window film, without the discoloration.

Our client contacted several other window film companies, in addition to Lee’s Solar Technology, for bids to remove and replace their existing film.  When found out that the other companies providing bids proposed installing a similar type of hybrid film product to the type previously installed.  The problem with hybrid films is the dyes they contain.  The dyes can have an effect on the film’s performance over time, slowly degrading and discoloring.

The resident chose the Huper Optik Ceramic 40 because of the film’s long term value, and also because he liked the high definition view it adds.  The home owner also liked the fact that he will never have to look at purple windows ever again because the film is 100% dye and Pigment free.
