Kroger Grocery Store contacted us because they were having a major problem.  Sun was coming into the store through the top windows, which was allowing a significant amount of heat to build up in the grocery store, and was also causing glare issues.  The direct sun was coming through the upper windows and was blinding the customers.

The cashiers at the checkout locations were also having problems working in the direct sun.  They were unable to see their computer screens to view the transactions.  The constant onslaught of sunlight was also causing headaches for some of the people working in the store.

We suggested a product called White Frost .  Once installed, this product still allows a substantial amount of light to pass into the building, but most importantly, eliminates the direct light track that was the cause of so many serious problems.  The film dissipates the light evenly, instead of having direct beams of light enter the store.

The end result is a much nicer work environment with less light coming into the building.  The building now has no direct sunlight issues that were the cause of discomfort to customers and to staff people in the store, and the store stays much cooler with less energy used to cool it.
