That’s a picture of a very nice home located in the Governors Club, an upscale housing area in Brentwood, TN.  We received a call because the home owner was concerned about protecting the interior of their home from the damaging effects of the sun’s harsh rays.   But it wasn’t a large scale issue, as there were only a few trouble spots located throughout the home.  So we were brought in to control the sun in a few areas of concern, rather than apply window film to all the windows on the home.

One key point that was important to our client was that she did not want to dramatically change the exterior look of the home.  She wanted to keep the same look that you see in the image below.  The windows look mostly transparent, without any drastic tinting or darkening visible.

Another important point for our client was that she also wanted a high performance window tinting film that would not cut out the natural light.  We selected a film called Select Sech, made by Huper Optik, which blocks 99.9% of ultraviolet light, and cuts 54% of solar heat.  This is a film that does not obstruct your view, and allows some heat into your space, but rejects almost 100% of the harmful ultraviolet rays that can destroy the interior of your home.
