We Custom Made a Slat-Directory Sign for Cool Springs Eyecare!

Our friends at Cool Springs Eyecare needed a new sign that showed both staff and customers who is currently working. To accomplish this in a way that both looked professional and was practical, we decided to use a clear acrylic panel (that’s one-quarter inch thick) with vinyl lettering of job titles and silver acrylic letters of the word “The Lab”—which is the name of their stylish glasses shop. We then made individual acrylic slats with employees’ names on them in vinyl. Neodymium magnets, or “rare earth” magnets, were attached to the slats and to the acrylic panel so that employees can easily add or remove the names of whoever is working. The magnets are very strong and will last them longer than other adhesives, like hook and loop, would. Not only will this help managers know who is on the clock, but it will help customers remember the names of the sales associates helping them.
