Tasty Wraps: Food Truck Wraps—Franklin, TN

With the seemingly endless expansion of food trucks in the middle Tennessee area, we have been involved with several companies and food truck vendors in their graphic projects. Most food trucks we have done are either full or partial wraps; allowing the vendor to use the majority of their blank space on their truck for advertising. From our experiences and what we have been told, food truck wraps are the key to driving customers to the trucks; the food is what keeps them coming back.

When approaching a food truck wrap, we like to talk with the customer and really get a feel for what they are trying to portray, and we like to make sure the wrap corresponds and is representative of the food the truck is selling. We begin the wrap process by using pictures taken by us on the initial vehicle survey, using them to mock up the design. After the necessary rounds of revisions, we begin setting up the printed files and creating the actual graphics. Surface prep is extremely essential on all vehicles, not just food trucks. Most trucks we have dealt with we have recommended they be re-painted with a better surface. Installing graphics onto a truck where the paint will most likely peel off is not something we like to do, and often have turned away jobs in the past in order to not sacrifice quality. These wraps should last you a long time; so the investment should be made to look it’s best.

Depending on what look you are trying to achieve, a food truck wrap is the best way to get your brand out there. Being seen is what will draw your clients in and get them exposed to your delicious food offerings. Weather it’s breakfast, lunch, dinner, or desserts, having a themed truck will only increase visibility, hence increase sales.
