Franklin, TN – Sheriff’s department uses vehicle wrap to reach kids

Posted in: Client Examples

Since its inception in 1983, the D.A.R.E (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) program has been an effective resource for educating the nation’s youth about resisting drug experimentation, peer pressure, and gang involvement. The program has also made a major impact by teaching kids about the decision-making and self-assertion skills that are necessary to recognize and avoid negative influences in their lives. Thirty-five years and 35 million classrooms worldwide later, and D.A.R.E. is still going strong!

The Robertson County Sheriff’s office in Tennessee believes that, along with all of the other benefits the program provides, it also helps kids establish a positive relationship with law enforcement.  They are so passionate about the message the D.A.R.E. program provides that they now have a customized fleet of vehicles that display the D.A.R.E. logo in a really cool and unique way. Our team at 12-Point SignWorks was honored to design and install the custom vehicle wraps that would do just that!

As soon as we received the request, our design team went straight to work on designing the wrap for their black Chevy Impala. Our team envisioned and implemented an eye-catching layout which included making each side of the vehicle different. Included in the design were white reflective decals of the D.A.R.E. logo as well as the Robertson County Sheriff lettering which we thought would really help enhance the vehicle’s presence at night. We also made sure to incorporate the Robertson County officers’ badge and the department’s decal in several locations throughout the design. Upon completion of our design, we submitted the proof to the department, and they loved the look!  We printed the design on our vehicle wrap vinyl, laminated with UV protection, and scheduled the installation in our climate-controlled indoor wrap installation facility right away.

Robertson County Sherrif’s office was so pleased with their new D.A.R.E. vehicle wrap that they have entrusted us in wrapping a total of nine vehicles in their fleet as well as their RV command post, golf cart, ATV and more.

Vehicle wraps are a great way to advertise your business, and they also do an amazing job of sharing the message that the D.A.R.E. program is still positively influencing the lives of our children every day!

If you are interested in sharing a message of your own give us a call, 12-Point SignWorks would love to help! 615-595-6564
