A Little Bit About Us

Before we get into why we stand behind our chicken, we want to share our story. It’s an important part of why we do what we do. You see, we grew up in places like St. Louis and Buffalo. We grew up with take-out foods that weren’t confusing or mysterious. We grew up with real foods that were both fast and good to eat. So, we created Top Round to share that experience with whole new generations of people.

About Our Chicken

You ever see a really good-looking chicken sandwich and just know you have to try a bite? You know the ones we’re talking about. Usually, you see them in commercials. They’re crispy, complemented by just the right amount of condiments, and look super fresh. So, you head down to the restaurant that sells them, pick one up, and realize you got duped. The sandwich might even look good, but when you taste it, you know it’s not the best quality, not treated right.

We’re not out to fool you at Top Round. Our only goal is to give you exactly what you pay for, which is good quality chicken sandwiches. So, what is organic chicken anyway, and why do we use it in our sandwiches?

Organic chicken is chicken that has to follow certain standards in order to get the organic label. For example, organic products can’t use unapproved synthetic chemicals. They’re also not allowed to be genetically modified in any way. We think these are all good things that make for a more natural, healthier chicken.

Speaking of healthier, did you know that organic chickens don’t have additives? We’re a big fan of no additives. Just ask out 100% roast beef about that.

About Our Chicken Sandwiches

So, hopefully by now you’re seeing why we’re so invested in organic chicken. There really are a lot of benefits to using it in our food. We really take care of that chicken once we get it too. All of our chicken is marinated in buttermilk and pickle brine, hand-breaded by us, and fried in house.

Speaking of which, did you know we have four chicken sandwiches on our menu? There’s the O.G. Chicken sandwich, which just comes with pickle and mayo. There’s the Chicken “Cali” sandwich, which comes with lettuce, tomato, avocado, ranch, and is put on a sesame bun. There’s our Buffalo Chicken sandwich, which also has lettuce, tomato, and comes on a sesame bun. It also comes with blue cheese and buffalo sauce. Last but not least, there’s the Sesame Chicken sandwich, which comes with sriracha mayo, sesame dressing, cilantro, and lettuce.
