Flowery Car Wrap for Cameron Park Florist Turns Heads

Posted in: Industry News

Heads are turning when Cameron Park Florist’s Prius delivery car is making its rounds! Car Wrap for Camerion Park FloristOwner, Pauline Murphy-Wachtel, wanted to step up her game with advertising on the Prius delivery car. They have their name and logo on a van and Pauline’s car but she was looking for some real pizzaz on this car. She want big and bright! She also loved the idea of using the environmentally friendly PVC-free 3M Envision film especially since it wouldn’t cost anything extra.

Flowers were pretty much a given for the main theme of the wrap. Getting them big enough and bright enough for her was the trick but not impossible. We went with images where there were few flowers and made them as big as the space allowed. Car Wrap rear Cameron Park FloristPauline loves magenta so we used it as a backdrop color and for the background on the tagline “Blooming With Imagination”. The green background for the web address and phone number makes them stand out and highly legible.

You’ll notice that the back window has cut-vinyl lettering instead of full-color wrap on it. Even with the rear-view camera in a Prius, visibility out the back is kind of weird. We showed Pauline a sample of the “window perf” material that has holes in it that allows the driver to sort of see out. She didn’t like the reduced visibility or the less than sharp image on the outside. Since she has employees driving the car she felt safety was more important. We used the regular vinyl the rear side windows but only covered half the window. They really only lost visibility on the one side since the driver doesn’t really use the rear window behind them. Using the regular vinyl kept Pauline’s magenta background popping pink!

This vehicle wrap is what’s called a “partial wrap” in that it doesn’t cover the entire car. A partial wrap can be a more economical option – less material used, less cost – but it can have just as much impact. The 3M Envision film combined with our Latex printer is the perfect earth-friendly combination. The water-based Latex inks print vibrant lasting color and the Envision film is not only PVC-free but is the most conformable wrap film on the market.

A newspaper ad costing $300.00 a month costs $25,200.00 over 7 years. A $1,500.00 vehicle wrap that lasts 7-10 years costs $17.86 a month or less! AND hundreds of people see your vehicle wrap every day whether you’re driving or parked at the grocery store.
