Crystal Basin Winery opened the Crystal Basin Bistro in the spring.  Make a point of stopping in if you’re in the Camino CA area or on your way to / from South Lake Tahoe! They’re an easy off / on from Hwy 50 just east of Placerville. Find them at 3590 Carson Road, Camino CA.

Signature Bistro wines, beer, picnic supplies and “sharable plates” are on the menu. Tasty stuff like The Raleigh – pulled pork on Texas Toast with a gorgonzola cole slaw to die for! Enjoy small plates with whole roasted garlic, stuffed mushrooms, stuffed artichokes, hummus with olives and roasted peppers. How about a breakfast burrito – weekend mornings only so plan ahead! $4 happy hour from 5pm-7pm too!

Join the Bistro Wine Club and get invited to their many events like the Oktoberfest on Oct 21, 2012. These guys know how to throw a party and their club members get treated like royalty! Just hanging out on the patio sharing food and a cold one with friends is worth the stop.

The Crystal Basin Bistro logo was a perfect candidate for the window graphic made from cut-vinyl. The cut-vinyl lettering on the windows gives you a good idea of what’s inside.
