So far we have been very busy attending the Signworld training in beautiful sunny southern California, as well as the Signworld convention in Las Vegas in April. At the convention, we got the opportunity to meet many of our North American associates, and learn a lot about the industry from both a technical and business perspective. We were extremely happy with the rapport and general good will exhibited by the owners toward one another and the Signworld organization.
Arriving home, we have been very busy preparing our manufacturing site, which is a large aircraft hangar at Denton Airport. We will be offering fly-in service for aircraft wraps and graphics as well as drive in service for our corporate fleet customers. We are looking forward to receiving our brand new, eco-friendly HP 26500 latex ink wide format printer, and getting it up and running. The printer needs 220 volt single phase power which we are getting run this week, and a climate controlled area in which to operate. Now the task at hand is learning the Cyrious Control estimating and work-flow system, which has been the largest project so far- there are dozens of videos to watch, and lots of direct, hands-on training with the software company.
I have also been busy getting to know the local Rotary Club, attending several meetings now and enjoying the camaraderie of the group. We have just finished our company logo with help from the fine folks at designcrowd.com, who got us almost 100 submissions to choose from- I would highly recommend their services to anyone needing logo development or other graphic design work.
