Window Washing Questions | Why do my windows look streaked in the sun after they’ve been washed?

Posted in: Uncategorized

When my windows are cleaned in the sun they looked streaked. Does the sun dry the soapy water causing the streaks? The rubber on the squeegee is heated up from contact with the hot window. If you press too hard the rubber melts and leaves the streaks on the panes of glass. Window cleaning is an art form. Try holding the squeegee as if you were holding a fine paint brush. The trick is to hold it gently and press hard enough to get the dirt and water off the windows without streaking the window.
