Now that you have bought a fresh pack of razor blades you are ready to try some construction cleaning. I would first suggest trying a small spot on your window to test on. You will need a sponge with some water soap solution. First clean off the area you will use a razor blade on. Make sure all the grit, dirt and loose debris are removed from the glass. If not they will be caught in the razors blade and scratch your window. Next put some water soap solution on the window. Take your razor blade and start at the top and go down. At your down stroke wipe the razor with a dry, clean cloth and repeat. Always go top to bottom and always wipe after the down stoke. The worst offenders are the ones who go back and forth trying to get off what ever is on your window. The debris is caught on the backside of the blade and ground into the glass causing scratches.
