Doctors Express in Danbury. CT New Signs

Doctors Express was in need for new custom parking signs/road signs, check out how we helped them out.

For the parking signs we adhered cut vinyl to the aluminum blank. We made ten custom 12″ x 18″ aluminum parking signs.  To cut the lettering we use our plotter, since we used cut vinyl we don’t have to laminate the graphics.

After the graphics are cut with the plotter we weed the excess vinyl off the sheet. Once the entire sheet is weeded out we apply transfer tape to the front of the vinyl. The transfer tape keeps the proper spacing of the letters and lines of text so we can apply the vinyl in one piece.

After the sign faces were lettered we used 10′ “U” channel posts that we sunk into the ground 4′ and had 6′ exposed.  These signs were single sided and spaced in-between the parking spaces so one sign is for both parking spots. After the posts were sunk and the faces were lettered we bolted the faces to the posts with 3/16″ zinc plated steel bolts.
