Ameico, New Milford CT Gets a New Etched Front Door

Do you want a elegant look on your business front door?

Do you want a elegant look on your business front door?

Molly called us from Ameico and wanted a custom sign/ glass etching sign. Before we did the custom sign/glass etching sign we had to take their glass and measure it. They needed the letters to be 22 inches by 19inches. To do the processing of the custom sign/glass etching sign, we first took their logo and made it into a stencil. This is similar to a negative of a picture taken from a 35 mm camera. Then after the stencil is finished we then position the stencil on the glass. We cover the glass around the stencil using specialized tape and paper.   After that procedure is done we artistically sandblast, with the sandblast engraver using special abrasive material.

Molly loved the job we did.  For more information on, Custom Sign/Glass Etching Sign contact us, Unlimited Signs, Designs and Graphics at 203-546-7267 or at our website www.unltdsigns.com

John Plummer came to us and wanted the Brookfield Volunteer Fire Department’s All-Terrain-Vehicle Car Decals/Cut Lettering.  He wanted us to put the name Ranger 1 on the front fenders.  To do the processing of the car decals/cut lettering in one color, we had to cut individual letters using our plotter, we then had to weed the letters and put application tape over it.  We double check the location where to install the car decals/cut lettering and we install.  To install, we used masking tape to hold the lettering in place, we peeled back the backing paper and then we applied the car decals/cut lettering with the mighty squeegee.

John loved the job we did. .  For more information on Car Decals/Cut Lettering, contact  Unlimited Signs, Designs and Graphics at 203-546-7267.  Or check out our website at www.unltdsigns.com

A Journey to Potters House, Inc spread their love by wrapping their trailer

Alice  the graphic designer called us and wanted A Journey to the Potter’s House’s  trailer wrapped. The work we perform relating to Car decals/Vehicle Graphics depends upon whether the logo or graphic needs several colors or just one.  If only one color is involve, we use the vinyl cutter/plotter.  It’s a simple process to do.  We just print the logo/graphics on the vinyl cutter and weed the excess vinyl off.  If the logo/graphics needed are multi colors, we use the printer.  Our colors are from the x-Rite Color Management System.  The Journey to the Potters House Inc. had several graphics and designs all over their vehicles.   To avoid wind, dust, bugs and even snow, we put the trailer in our climate-controlled garage.

Using the proof from their graphic design, we do the most difficult part first.  The sides are the most difficult, since you have the doors, molding and the rivets to work with.  That’s why it’s important to have the proof of the trailer..  The proof will give you the measurements between the doors, molding, rivets, and ridges.  Mistakes can easily be made, but must be avoided.   Since the car decals/vehicle graphics uses multiple colors, we use our 61 inch printer.  We print the car decals/vehicle graphics logo/graphics on specialize vehicle wrap material. Before installing you need to laminate first to protect the ink from harsh weather and the abusive brushes that are used in the automatic car washes. Double check your location and you’re ready to install.  To install, we use special magnets to keep the vinyl material in place so we can line up the panels together, but since the trailer is aluminum, we had to use tape, magnets do not work on aluminum.  We then peel back the backing paper and then apply the special wrap material using the mighty felt cover squeegee, specifically designed for vehicle wraps.  It can take several hours depending upon the design, texture and size of the vehicle.

Alice  loved the work we did, they’re among our many satisfied Customers.    If you are interested in Car Decals/ Vehicle Graphics , Unlimited Signs Designs and Graphics can help you.  Please visit out website at www.unltdsigns.com and/or call us at 203-546-7267.
