Nicholasville, KY: ADA Braille Custom Signs for Jessamine County Library
Posted in: Videos
Signs PDQ received a call from Kelly at the Jessamine County Public Library in Nicholasville, Kentucky. She needed advice from our ADA team as to what signs she would need for the newly renovated library. We conferred with Kelly recommending the style of sign they were looking for combined with the material Signs PDQ would be manufacturing them out of. First and foremost the signs had to comply with ADA regulations mandated by the Federal Government. The signs featured below are the result and also ADA compliant.
When you read the signs in the photos above you can imagine that they are for a library. You can also look at the photo gallery below and see exactly what the signs look like. Do they look like brushed aluminum? We think so. Are they brushed aluminum? NO!!!! They are made of a special approved material that feels like plastic. This material is very durable. Suited for a public arena like a library.
The customer was in need of these signs quickly and requested a rush. Between the customer’s patience and co-opereation, as well as the great team we have in place at Signs PDQ, we were able to design, get approval, manufacture and ship the signs to Kentucky quickly and efficiently.
