Signage FAQ – What are the advantages of becoming a certified WBE (Woman Owned Business)?

Signs PDQ is a certified WBE (Woman Business Enterprise) as well as an SBE (Small Business Enterprise) with Cuyahoga County.  We are also certified as a WBE with CMHA (Cleveland Metropolitan Housing Authority, the Ohio Turnpike, EDGE certified with the State of Ohio and SBE certified with NEORSD (North East Ohio Regional Sewer District. Now to answer the question pertaining to this FAQ!  There are many advantages to being certified with various certification entities. Corporations, General Contractors, the State and the County have goals to reach when purchasing products and services for various projects.  When these institutions are requesting quotes they often reach out to certified companies for bids in order to obtain a quote.   It is important to know that certification may give you an advantage but doesn’t guarantee that you will get the job.  In order to make your certification work for your company you must establish a good reputation and follow through on your promises.
