Continue reading our brief post about a recent project in which we installed lettering on a semi truck for a logging company.

After all, we are the local Clarksville area’s experts in sign and graphic designs, including vehicle wraps. Semi trucks are no problem and they are a very frequent type of client for us because the industries these haulers serve is so diverse. Custom fonts, letters, colors, typography and other special elements of design or illustration are no problem for us either. We can work with your existing artwork or create a totally new design for you to use in your rolling marketing plan for the company fleet. Just take a look at the above photo of this logging company’s rig, outfitted with custom graphics from our sign pr`oduction facility in Tennessee.

The Graphics Installation for This Rig in a Nutshell

The Cornell Logging company approached us with a desire to get vehicle lettering for a logging company truck. The company, like many trucking and other companies out there with semi trucks and trailers on the road delivering products to businesses in this state and elsewhere in the U.S., needed high visibility. To achieve this, our business consulted with them on the project in terms of materials needed, design elements for these custom graphics and other details specific to the logging company. Ultimately, we were able to quickly and easily come to an agreement on how to proceed with the graphics design and installation for this truck.

Graphics Features and Lettering Process Involved

The process for getting graphics and lettering installed on a truck like this one involved designing the lettering, printing the design out on the materials to be applied to the truck, lamination of the product, cutout creation and finally, the installation of the product on the truck.

Product Selected for Truck Lettering

The product we decided to use for the truck was a 3M vinyl with Avery laminate. These products stand the test of time and are trusted within the sign and graphics industry, among others.

How we did it

Since we have an HP latex printer, we were able to quickly print, laminate, cut the letters out and install the final designed letters on the semi truck belonging to the logging business. It is a pretty quick and simple process, usually for jobs like this one. With our latex printer, we don’t have to wait for the ink to dry as most other types of printers. They waited briefly in our lobby while we installed the letters. If you need a similar product, give us a call to learn more.
