Custom Room ID Signage for Loyola Marymount University East Hall in Los Angeles

Schools require many different types of signs, including ADA signs which are required for public buildings. We’ve made many signs for Loyola Marymount University, and we recently made them two room identification signs for University Hall. One was for the Elevator Machine Room which we put on the sign in tactile copy and in Braille. The second sign was a little different because the room is not used for one set thing. In a case like this, we typically make information that is not going to change permanent, such as the room number we applied in tactile copy and Braille. For the information that can change, such as the function of the room, we included a window on the sign where any information can be printed onto a piece of paper the size of the window and slipped in. This way, they don’t need a whole new sign every time someone moves in or out of the room, or if the decide to use the room for a different purpose. We also use this in office buildings where the user of an office may change, or if a tenant may change.
