Custom Dimensional Letter Lobby Sign for Dream Magic Studios in Canoga Park, CA

Dimensional letters are great for both indoor and outdoor signage. The logo is routed from a sheet of material and mounted onto the wall as individual pieces. For this sign we made for Dream Magic Studios, we used acrylic with an aluminum laminate. The acrylic is 3/8″ thick and there is a thin sheet of brushed aluminum laminated on the face so the letters have a metal look, without the cost of solid metal letters. You can see the color of the acrylic from the sides so we typically use a neutral color like black or white. In some cases clients request clear acrylic, or we paint the sides of the letters to match the face.

As you can see from the photos, the wall inside of Dream Magic Studio’s office was curved. Since the letters themselves are flat, we had to install them onto a flat part of the wall. Sometimes, we are able to install on a slightly curved wall, but if the curve is too extreme, the letters will not sit right on the wall.
