Chatsworth, CA – Lighted Signs to Advertise New Restaurant

Chello is a new Persian buffet in Chatsworth that reached out to us for signage after finding us online. They wanted to remove the existing box sign on their storefront and replace it with a custom channel letter sign. Chello is located inside of an outdoor shopping center and many shopping centers like this are built with cabinet signs so when a new tenant moves in, all they need to do is replace the face on the cabinet sign which prevents damage on the building and is a little easier on the tenant because a replacement face doesn’t need to be permitted, and it’s cheaper than a whole new sign. The only downside is that you’re limited in terms of the space and proportions that you have to work with and your sign can end up looking pretty generic.

Older shopping centers have this rule, but newer centers and newer landlords are actually not allowing cabinet signs or box signs because they do not feel that it is aesthetically pleasing. This is likely the case with this shopping center as all of the storefronts had box signs aside from the newer Pizza Hut on the corner until Chello moved in. Custom signs like the one we made for Chello add more character to the shopping center and will draw more attention to potential new customers.

The logo colors were very important to Chello so we made them a front-lit channel letter sign. The faces use pre-colored vinyl instead of digital prints because the color in the pre-colored vinyl lasts much longer than digital prints. We provided all of the color options and the client picked up each color that they wanted for the letters, the dots, and the lettering inside of the logo.

Because this is a front-lit channel letter, the faces will light up at nighttime and the unique yellow-gold lettering is sure to catch the eye of some hungry new customers.
