Recently, a client of ours, Walter E., contacted us about repainting his home. His house was a light color and he explained to us that he was spending a lot of time outdoors washing the exterior of the home to keep it looking good. When we arrived at Walter’s home, we discussed what needed to be done to improve the look of his home, which included a change of color. Walter agreed that an exterior repainting of his home, with a darker color, was needed.
The color that we chose together was a moss green that really makes the home stand out from the others on their street. Instead of fading into the background with a light color, the dark color shows off the home’s features. We changed not only the color of the stucco, but also the doors and the trim of the home. The stucco is a darker color with a lighter colored trim. The trim highlights the details of the home and offers a nice clean look of the freshly painted double garage doors. The front door is now black instead of white, which provides some added visual interest to the entrance way.
