Lobby Sign and 3D Desk Logo for Long Beach Company at Its New Location

Posted in: Industry News

Located at 3900 Via Oro Avenue in Long Beach, DENSO Products and Services Americas is a thought leader in the field of automotive parts sales and distribution. When the business opened a new facility, a representative of its management team contacted our shop to discuss the design, manufacture, and installation of a lobby sign and 3D desk logo setup.

Including a Tagline with a Large Lobby Sign Display

When discussing a signage display with DENSO’s representative, we learned that the firm needed a large lobby sign for the new location. Moreover, the firm not only wanted the lobby sign that features the company’s name but also required the tagline to be included.

We went to work and manufactured the product from half-inch-thick PVC. Our technicians painted it in the red color that buyers in the niche have come to associate with the business. Now, visitors to the location see “DENSO” as well as “Crafting the Core” featured in larger than life letters. The style elements are mounted with wall studs, which give the lettering an elegant presentation.

To support the branding, the team asked for a smaller repetition of the name only for a desk sign. We used the same material at a thickness of a quarter inch. We mounted it with foam tape to the desk’s front surface, which makes it possible to remove the letters if necessary. Using the tape also prevents any damage to the furniture. Visitors to DENSO’s new location are now greeted upon arrival by a strong brand presence.

Supporting the Message of a Lobby Sign

  • Wall graphics. Offset the three-dimensional features of the lettering with images that support your brand. These may be photos of products, vignettes depicting the manufacturing process, or pictures of local landmarks to stress the location angle.
  • Window graphics. If your storefront or office has glass walls, capitalize on these surfaces by dressing them up with etched and frosted vinyl. Our technicians routinely design and install stripes or other geometric shapes that include reverse cutouts of a logo and business name. The look is professional, adds definition to the space, and supports branding.
  • Prints. Wall art is a big deal. In the past, you might have bought something off the shelf at the big box office supply store. However, you do not have to do so any longer. Instead, consider the addition of targeted artwork that incorporates your color palette and features images to highlight your niche. Some business clients have chosen to tell their corporate history with custom wall art.
