Retail Store Window Graphics Grab Your Attention in Orange County, CA!

Storefront windows can be great advertising medium at a reasonable cost.  Their sheer location at the front of your store where all passersby see them makes your retail storefront windows prime advertising space.  Taking advantage of that space is typically done with window graphics – either using die cut shapes and lettering or full window wraps.  If using full window wraps, perforated vinyl and translucent vinyl are alternatives to standard vinyl.  Both allow more light and visibility through the window than standard vinyl, but nothing can beat the rich colors and precise image reproduction of solid vinyl window wraps.

When a past customer called us and said they wanted to wrap three windows on their retail store, we had an easy decision on which type of vinyl to use.  This particular situation involved windows that had refrigeration and coffee equipment behind them where visibility was not only unnecessary, but also not desired.  The customer was “The Cove”, a convenience store located in the front of the Tropicana Hotel across from Disneyland.  The Cove also has a coffee bar inside, in addition to food, snacks, beer and wine.  Their location across from Disneyland and next to several other hotels meant that they have a steady flow of tourists walking in front of the store and hotel on their way to the park or back from it.

We decided that visibility and awareness of what The Cove was were lacking, and many potential customers did not know that espresso shots and pastries were just a few steps away.  Our approach was to take some high resolution photos and enlarge them to clearly show the available products and drinks inside.  We used a large coffee shot image, beer and wine cooler doors showing tempting beverages, and even a life size photo of the cashier area in the store.  Each window pane had its own image, and the life size image looks so crisp and realistic that the wrap looks like a real window peering into the store!  Our large format printer puts out spectacular window graphics when using high resolution source images and the window wraps we did at The Cove are a great example of that.  A luster overlaminate knocks down some of the glare and protects the prints from sun fade.
