Relocation to Buena Park is an Opportunity for Great Looking New Signs!

Posted in: Industry News

You find Flexport at 6201 Knott Avenue in Buena Park. This freight forwarding service relies on the smooth operations of its warehouse and distribution center for business success. While the company was still in the process of relocating its commercial facility, a representative of the management team contacted us to discuss an extensive signage project for the industrial property.

Signage Suite Benefits Visitors, Clients, and Workers

  1. Building sign. The side of the building is visible from the street. Every business needs a building sign, and Flexport is no exception. We used large foam letters that our technicians painted black for branding purposes. These letters stand out from the cream color of the building’s siding.
  2. Monument sign acrylic lettering. At the street level, a monument sign signals the presence of the commercial facility. With the structure already in place, we upgraded the backdrop and added the company’s name. Using acrylic lettering, the font and color displays mimic the presentation of the building sign.
  3. Lobby sign. When you enter the lobby, you notice a repeat of the company’s name – in black lettering – on the focal wall. It encapsulates the brand message, helps with location identification, and assists with building name recognition. It fits in perfectly with the overall interior decor. The matte finish ensures that the light does not create glare.
  4. Door lettering. To make the labeling of the doors pop, the client needed five 3D door lettering signs. We dressed them up with brushed metal faces for aesthetics and added durability.
  5. Wall graphics. To dress up the wall of the conference room and play on the company’s niche as a warehouse and distribution center, the client asked for a wall graphic. We created a vinyl wall map of the world. Combined with a row of clocks that show different time zones, this setup works.commercial facility with signage

Equipping an Industrial Property with the Right Signs

commercial facility with signageWhether you are outfitting a warehouse, dock, processing plant, or any other type of commercial facility with signage, we can help. Typically, these markers must be functional but also bring some aesthetics to the setting. Moreover, the information contained in the signage has to be readable at a glance. People delivering loads, picking up goods, or moving items through a warehouse do not have the time to glean details from more ornate signs.

You can get the information across without fuss by relying on bold fonts, high-contrast colors, and three-dimensional effects that make the details of your messages stand out. For example, black on gray or white is ideally suited for catching the eye and translating the text into information. Matte finishes work particularly well because they do not translate direct sunlight or artificial lighting into a glare.
