Business Relocation to Fullerton is an Opportunity to Update Indoor Signage!

Adding Corporate Image to the Office Lobby

We recently had a large records management company contact us about signage for their new Fullerton location.  Their focus was on the interior of the new building, as the nature of their business is not to call attention to location – yet corporate visitors need to know where they are and who they are visiting.

So we were initially tasked with using their corporate logo and colors to create a classy and upscale looking lobby sign that would greet visitors upon entry to the lobby.  We looked over the TAB logo specifics and their desired install location – 24” tall maroon and white logo with silver letters to be mounted on a multicolored tile wall behind a lobby planter.

We recommended a combination of reverse cut colored acrylic and brushed metal finishes overlaid on 1” thick black gatorfoam letters.  We would mount to the tile wall using clear silicone adhesive and HD two sided tape to avoid drilling holes into the tile.  In order to maintain the integrity of their logo colors, we needed to lay down white laminated vinyl on the wall before installing the maroon reverse cut logo.  The result would be a sharp looking 3-D lobby sign with depth and a corporate logo color match.

While taking the folks at TAB through our plans for the lobby sign, we were asked to help with another obstacle.  They had a large two story warehouse room that was to be used for industrial office space, and they were trying to give it a more appealing look for the employees working there.  They had their painting crew add a 3 foot tall stripe around the room at 10 feet above ground floor level, in their corporate maroon color to visually cut down the mass of the 2-story space.  Although they had left  an unpainted area within the stripes for two 6 foot tall corporate logos to be painted on opposite sides of the room, their painting crew was leery about trying to hand paint the logo.

We were able to print, laminate and die cut a pair of 6’ square maroon corporate logos for them true to the exact scale of their logo and install in two panels on each wall. The result really adds some visual interest and mentally links the employees that work in that room every day to the corporate logo/ colors/culture of TAB.

Adding corporate identity to the workpace

We were able to get the wall graphics and the lobby sign installed in the same day, and have added just enough pizzaz and identity to this large corporation’s new location.  Every day the new signage will remind employees and visitors where they are, and who they represent – or are doing business with!
