Window Graphics

The original logo design was maintained for the new window graphics. For clearer legibility and visibility from a distance, a white outline was adopted for the surrounding of the logo. The graphics are printed on sticky vinyl and laminated for proper protection and contour cut before the installation.

The materials used and the design both strike a balance between effectiveness and low cost. In other words, this is the best they could get within their budget. It was deliberated on and the necessity was clear to everyone before the project was approved and funds disbursed.

Lobby Sign

The lobby sign was designed to go with the color of their custom painted wall right behind the reception desk. Apart from the usefulness of the lobby sign, aesthetics was also considered. The blue color of the wall was an important part of the design of the lobby sign. A glimpse at the office sign confirms that.

For a color that would go well with the background color, brushed aluminum color was chosen. It is needless to say that this combination of colors has been nothing short of perfect. Looking at it for the first time, you may think the sign is made out of aluminum. Which in fact, that is the idea behind it. They may want you to think so. But on the contrary, it is actually made out of acrylic.

Since using aluminum is less cost effective, they chose a very close but cheaper substitute. Besides that, acrylic is very durable for indoor use. This implies that there may not any need to change the lobby sign in the next few years.

The best part is that the sign is cut out of acrylic but it has a brushed laminate and this is what gives the aluminum look. Finally, a metallic silver color was used for the edges to match the aluminum face. In short, the design is a combination of innovation and creativity at the barest minimum cost.
