When creating large-format digital prints, one of the most important aspects is the file type. Typically, we need a vector file or a very large graphics file to deliver a high resolution print. It’s important to understand the difference between a graphics file in and a vector file, so you may need to relay this to your graphic designer if you have one already. If you don’t have a graphic design team, we do, and we can help with any artwork you need designed.

Common types of graphics files are JPEG’s, PNG files and gif files.  These file types will work, but they have to be a high enough resolution otherwise they will come out blurry or pixilated. A vector file, on the other hand, is a type of graphic file that enables you to scale up your design to any size without losing resolution.
