With the economy down you might not be looking to build a brand new home.  You might be thinking, “Hey, our home really isn’t that bad at all.  And we know the area, right.  And the kids like it here…so let’s just fix it up a bit.”

And that’s what’s happening a lot lately.  People are getting a little money from the banks so they can only do smaller projects.  For that reason SierraCrest Construction company, as well as many other general contractors, are doing a lot of additions and remodels lately.  Sierra Crest Construction excels at kitchen remodels and bathroom remodels, but they are also more than qualified for bigger projects and have done many in the past.

And in terms of the past I mean like 25 years experience, past.  That’s a long time and a lot of experience.  Which is essential!  No body wants to pay 1000s of dollars for a dream kitchen that ends up looking more like a nightmare.

You know, you’re sitting in the kitchen and then you happen to notice that the new windows never got sealed properly.  And then the worst case scenario is the contractor that was hired and too inexperienced, tries to charge to fix the problem.  Crazy!  That’s why you need to select a general contractor that A, has a lot of experience, and B, has a lot of happy clients.  If you go on Yelp and find bad comments don’t go with that company.  It just costs too dang much to make a poor decision.
