Outdoor Event Signage for Town Celebration – Yarrow Point, WA

  Like many towns across our country, in 1976 the town of Yarrow Point, WA held its first community wide 4th of July celebration.  While a one time bicentennial celebration for most small towns, the 4th of July celebration has become a Yarrow Point tradition that continues to grow every year.  Yarrow Point and Hunts Point 4th of July celebration brings community together.  Every year it is like stepping back in time as friends and neighbors gather to celebrate the independence of our country.    It all begins with a children’s bicycle parade followed by the town mayors.  The parade travels the 1/2 mile route past all the town residents to the end of the point where the festivities happen.  The 4th of July weekend many festivities including a fishing derby, bingo, a pet parade, brass band, antique car parade, hot dogs, snow cones, strawberry shortcake and other delights.

RainMaker Signs was thrilled to be asked to support this wholesome community event with outdoor signs.

RainMaker Signs designed and fabricated and installed the following signs for the event:

• 1 – 24″ x 72″ wayfinding food vending banner signs
• 1 – 24″ x 18″ digital print on coroplast ticket sale sign
• 2 –  24″ x 60″ digital prints on Dibond signs for long term use
• 4 – 24″ x 18″ digital prints on coroplast signs for the town mayor’s parade cars

The fundraising thermometer signs were printed and mounted on dibond to hold up in outdoor weather for many years to come.  Adhesive red strips were provided to the Yarrow Point Community Association so they could customize their signs by cutting and sticking the red strips to keep the signs up to date and funds came in.  RainMaker Signs printed 5 years worth of red strips to make updates easy for future volunteers.
