Bill Muse is a vintage car collector in Seattle, WA.  He has an ever changing collection of old cars – from dump trucks to Cadillacs to Vista Cruiser Station Wagons.  While many of these cars come and go, his 1969 Oldsmobile Cutlass Convertible has been his prized possession.   The car comes out of the garage on those often too rare sunny Seattle days.

Like with most older cars, the paint was weathered and fading.  Mr. Muse had been contemplating having the vehicle re-painted in a dark blue similar to its original color.  While visiting the RainMaker Signs showroom for another project he picked up a our Avery Supreme Wrapping Vinyl sample book.   He hadn’t thought of wrapping his car before.  First he examined the blues – Metallic Blues, and Matte Metallic Blue.   Not different enough for him.  Then he looked at the specialty vinyls – Brushed Metallic, Matte Finishes, and Carbon Fiber.  Still not his thing.  Finally he came across the Chrome Conforming Vinyls.  Highly reflective and not the kind of thing you typically see on the road.  He knew immediately this is the look he was after.
