Press conferences are frequently held at UW's Medicine's Harborview Medical Center to announce medical breakthroughs or any challenging cases. The University of Washington contacted us at RainMaker Signs for a way to present branding for UW Medicine.
As you can see from the photo above, the main part of the pop up display shows the UW Medicine brand along with the famous UW cherry blossom. On the right of the display is a collage of three photos of UW Medicine's service offerings. Looking at the photo below you can see the aluminum accordion frame that can collapse, making it easier to store.
UW Medicine has a very bold mission and that is to "improve the health of the public." UW Medicine provides their patients with the latest medical discoveries, diagnoses, and treatments. Not only do the physicians treat patients, they also conduct medical research and teach the next generation of medical professionals.
In order for us at RainMaker Signs to make the visual display the most effective, we needed to make the design proportional to the display. Our design team offered help by giving a bleed template with exact proportions of the display and instructions to help the client create their own design. This pop up display is made of fabric that is retractable with a collapsable aluminum accordion frame. The fabric is printed with a dye-sublimation printer. A benefit of the fabric print is that when it expands, it has a non glare finish which prevents glare when used as a photo backdrop.
The benefit of pop up displays is that they create tremendous brand awareness. It pulls the attention to what is happening in front of the display. During press conferences or events, photographs will be taken in front of the display. The background of these photos will thus feature the branding, allowing the advertiser to market their brand.
