Project: Fleet and Box Truck Vehicle Graphics
Location: Kirkland, WA
Customer: Cornell Quality Construction
Cornell Quality Construction (CQC) is a local company specializing in all aspects of remodeling including tile, marble & granite fabrication & installation. With a half a dozen people in the office and a field crew of about 20 craftsmen they continue to thrive and grow. CTC has added graphics to each new vehicle brought into the fleet. Over years some of those graphics have started to fade or appear damaged. There are three reasons why the graphics become damanged
- The vinyl is past the manufacture's warranty and expected life
- The previous company used sub-standard materials
- The graphics were not carefully applied - exposing edges to vehicle washing damage and environmental elements.
CQC contacted RainMaker Signs about repairing damaged graphics so their fleets would reflect well on their brand and speak to the professionalism and quality of CQC's work. RainMaker Signs scheduled an appointment to review the fleet of about 20 vehicles.

RainMaker Signs did a walk-through with a CQC manager to review the vehicles. Together they took inventory of the vehicle number and graphics in need of replacing. RainMaker Signs then identified a green vinyl to match the letter and logo decals that would not be replaced. Additionally, RainMaker Signs' identified a font and measured the size of each group of letters to match the existing fleet graphics.

You can see examples of their vans and box trucks in the images in this article. Including quality graphics on these vans and trucks is an important marketing tool and branding tool for the business. The trucks and vans are on site and on the road advertisements for the company.
Once the graphics were designed, cut, laminated and masked off - there was a three step process to the installation.
- Step 1 : Remove existing graphics from the vehicles using a special tool to avoid damaging the paint
- Step 2 : Thoroughly clean the surface of the vehicle to remove any residue from the old graphics
- Step 3 : Carefully position the graphics and apply.
Cornell's Quality Construction was pleased with their repaired graphics. If you’re looking for vehicle graphics for your company vehicles, or any other type of signs for your business, give us a call, RainMaker Signs, at (855) 806-7446.
