Project: Custom Window Graphics and Wall Graphics
Customer: Urban Legend Productions
Location: Seattle, WA
Urban Legend Productions moved into a new production studio earlier this year. They needed identity signage and wall graphics to brand their space and show their brand personality. When we were contacted by Jack Barrett, owner of Urban Legend Productions we discussed their project and scheduled an appointment to see the space.
At our scheduled appointment we took measurements of all of the walls and windows in the new location and photographs of the space. From these measurements and photographs we were able plan the size of the graphics.
While on site, we did a wall test using 6 different types of wall graphics material to determine what wall graphics material would work best for the wall surface. At the visit we also learned that the walls had recently been painted. Unfortunately, there is nothing worse for wall graphics than fresh paint. We advised Urban Legends to wait three weeks for their fresh paint to cure before installing their new graphics.
For the main meeting area, we produced the Urban Legend Production logo 8 feet in width so that it would stand out nicely on the main wall.
In the kitchen area we installed a pop art "astro-monkey". "I love the great expression he has. The way he is looking off into the distance." says Jack Barrett, owner of Urban Legend Productions. Gotta say, we love that monkey too!
In keeping with the Urban Legend brand, we included a wall graphic of one of Seattle most famous urban legends - Jimi Hendrix. It completed a great little niche, perfect for the guitar Barrett loves to play.
We installed the Urban Legend's logo was on the entry window. And last, but absolutely not least, we installed wall lettering above the most awesome orange chair that read - "Chair of Creative Inspiration" We can only dream of having such a chair in our own RainMaker Signs Studio some day!
