5 Steps of Installation Process of Your Security System …from Estimate to Traini…

BY: Your Name, Your Business

Pacific Security Systems of East Bay understands that knowledge and control are important functions of any security system. As a business owner, you need cost effective solutions that allow you to monitor your facilities 24/7. And in the event of an incident, you want to have clear, time-stamped recordings that can be used as admissible evidence with the police.

We take a systematic approach to provide you with a custom solution for each facility you want to monitor. The best part? Once it’s installed, you are in complete control of your business even when you are not there. You can even check up on your staff while you’re away on vacation. Now that’s control. Here is the unprecedented level of service you will receive and the steps we take to create your custom system.

Step One – Custom Design

During your initial consultation, we actually design your custom system. Since our designs are uniquely customized to your facility, our specialists need to engineer your video surveillance system at this stage. We create a detailed plan and estimate.

Our project team consists of a project manager and an installation manager. They collaborate to create a system that will work best for your specific location. The project manager calculates angles that your system needs and our installation manager assesses your infrastructure. If you have multiple locations, we will repeat this process for each one.

Step Two – Estimate

You will be sent your estimate which includes your custom design drawings. This design alone is worth hundreds of dollars. You will also receive a contract to sign and remit a downpayment on your system, so we can order your custom selected equipment.

Step Three – Installation

The installation process depends on the number, location and parameters of your facilities. This is why your system estimate is unique. We never use the same design twice. For each location, we install wiring, conduit if needed, mount the cameras, and connect the DVR. We will also set up remote access to the system, if needed.

Step Four – Camera Adjustment & Testing

Our camera specialists adjust and test your equipment. They open each and every camera to precisely adjust the lens for the calculated angles and very best clarity. After this step is completed, the 2nd payment is due. We set the order of cameras for your remote view and test each as we go along. If you use a laptop, we will set it up at your location. If you want remote access software added to a home computer, we will need access to it as well.

Step Five – Training

During the training session, we show you and your authorized personnel how to check cameras, recordings, view and save data, find a particular point in time, put data on a DVD for the police, and view cameras all at once and one-by one.

Additional Services

If you wish, monthly maintenance programs cover any and all malfunctions of your equipment, as well as regular system check ups and cleaning. Or, you have a choice of simply paying a regular hourly rate of $75 per hour for service if anything comes up. There’s no charge for travel.
