Many of our customers feel like they need to be able to tell us what is wrong with their cars. Some are even afraid to bring it in for work until they think they know what is wrong. I get calls every day from someone who wants a price on this or that repair because their neighbors uncle’s friend said that what was wrong. Most of the time, this is not the actual problem with the car. It is also not the right approach to getting your car repaired. It is our job to figure out the problem and suggest the solution. Don’t make it to hard on yourselves, let us solve the problems.

Last week I had a customer who had been putting up for months with their power door locks clicking on and off while they were driving. Everyone they new had given an opinion and it all looked like some bad electrical problem. Once we got out hands on the car we fixed it in ten minutes. The right rear door was not closing all the way and the power lock would cycle when they thought the door was being opened. Cost = $15.00

What we really want from you is a good detailed explanation as to what symptoms you have been experiencing. Many times when someone says they have a noise. When asked they can’t describe it or even tell us when the noise happens. Pay close attention to the details of your problem, even write it down, so we know what we are looking for. This morning I had a lady tell me that her air conditioning was not working. Come to find out it worked fine with the fan on high speed but had no air coming out with the fan on slower speeds. Her fan speed resister was bad and the a/c was ok.
