Towering 85 Ft Illuminated Sign in Buda, Texas for Pinballz Arcade & Fun Center

Recently we were contacted by Pinballz in Buda, Texas.  They were looking for a local sign company to design, fabricate and install a really tall sign that could be seen a great distance away along Interstate 35.  We suggested a double-sided illuminated sign cabinet, which you can see in the picture to the left, mounted on an 85 foot tall pole. This sign is illuminated with LED lights that make it easy to see from a great distance at night.

LED lighting is a much newer technology that burns brighter, and saves a significant amount of money on energy costs from running the sign. The lighting components and power supplies we installed come with a five year warranty and will run for a thousands of hours without maintenance. Some LED bulbs are rated at 20,000 hours, meaning they are guaranteed to last for a minimum of 20,000 hours before needing to be replaced.

Constructing a sign that requires little to no maintenance can come in handy, especially when the sign is hard to reach. This sign was mounted on top of an 85 foot tall poll to be well noticed.  This sign is not exactly easy to service so it’s important to make sure that maintenance is minimal.

When you look at the picture above, the sign doesn’t seem all that big, but as you can see in the pictures below, the sign is actually a 12′ x 12’cabinet and is very large.  The sign faces are made out of  Cooleybrite flex face material that is translucent and great for illuminated signs. We think the sign came out fantastic and will have great results for Pinballz.
