This past weekend after word of the approaching storm hit, we were quickly called to wrap this beauty, and we now know there is one less person stressing over the damage that could possibly occur. While everyone didn’t get snow, the wind has picked up and has been between 15mph and 40mph across the state. While it doesn’t seem like an immediate danger, debris can be picked up and cause damage to our vehicles and assets left outdoors.
Shrink wrapping is an ideal solution for both indoor and outdoor storage. The virgin resin plastic sheeting is tightly secured using strong tape, heat guns, and plastic fiber ties. The tape is never applied directly to the item being wrapped, meaning no messy or sticky gunk to remove when the plastic is cut off. The use of a heat gun shrinks the plastic sheeting to form it to the shape of the item being wrapped, without causing damage. The ties secure the plastic tightly across the bottom, preventing dust and insects from getting under the plastic. The thick sheeting protects against UV damage caused by prolonged exposure to the sun for items stored outdoors.
