Daybreak Games, a popular online gaming company, moved into their dream office in San Diego. The high ceilings, glass walls, and shiny cement floors gave the office the clean, modern look that attracted them to the space. But there was just one problem: noise. Conversations and footsteps were amplified and echoed as people walked the concrete-floored corridors.
Our team came up with a two-fold solution: a soundproof panel that reduces noise and a digitally printed fabric overlay that adds visual interest to their lobby area. This custom piece we created displays a 10′ X 8′ graphic provided by Daybreak–a map of one of their most popular games. The panel art breaks up the white walls and offers a creative way to brand their space. The best part? The premium material used to insulate the panels subdues the room acoustics so employees can hear themselves think uninterrupted by loud noises.
