Vehicle Lettering in Connecticut Helps G&L Masonry Advertise!

BY: Marian Goldstein, Unlimited Signs

When popular local contractor G&L Masonry. needed contractor vehicle lettering, our experts went to work. The business uses a 2500 Heavy Duty Ram truck with a red paint job. A row of graphics at the lower third of the vehicle mimics a double line of bricks. After consulting with our client, we designed a lettering package that spells out G&L Masonry LLC as well as a niche explanation, the company’s phone number, and a website address. The gold and white letters beautifully contrast with the red color.

What Should You Include in a Vehicle Lettering Package?

Vehicle Lettering for Contractors

There are five distinct elements to a successful vehicle lettering presentation.

  1. Company name. Spell out the company’s name. Rather than relying on an abbreviation, we recommend showing the full name that is associated with your business’ license or online listing.
  2. Niche explanation. While the term “masonry” appears to be self-explanatory, this company succeeds in getting more phone calls just because it outlines that it accepts all types of commissions. Some professionals in the niche limit their activities to retrofits, new construction only, or other specialties.
  3. Contact information. A phone number is always the best type of contact information to provide to the consumer. If you do not have a number associated with the business but instead rely on a catchy email address, it is possible to use it instead.
  4. Online connection. Offering prospective customers your website address encourages an online interaction with your company. Even if a shopper is not yet ready to buy, this consumer may be willing to sign up for a newsletter, which brings your branding and marketing messages into their inboxes on a regular basis.
  5. Logo. A logo presentation is a must. However, we have seen too many professionals who rely too heavily on a logo, which leads some to actually neglect spelling out their companies’ names. Unless you are so well known that everyone immediately associates your symbol with the company name, it is best to combine the two in your vehicle lettering package.

Graphics: Necessity or Optional Luxury?

Mobile marketing is a mix of style elements that introduces your advertising information to new demographics while reinforcing it with established clients. Graphics are excellent attention-getters. They have the power to turn heads, which then leads to the consumer’s reading of your information. When the addition of graphics is not feasible, a lettering setup will work just fine. Our graphic artists can work with colors and fonts to mimic at least some of the impact that graphics could have. We do not consider images a luxury, but we understand that some clients prefer to stick with lettering only – at least at first.

Buying Contractor Vehicle Lettering

When you are ready to join the mobile marketing revolution, we urge you to contact our specialists for a design consultation. At that time, we talk through the proposed look that you favor and the style elements that you prefer. We then prepare a proof that shows you what the finished product could look like. Once you love what you see, we manufacture the vinyl lettering and install it on your vehicle.
