Located at 201 West Santa Fe Avenue, Disaster Kleenup/Better Restorations is Placentia’s go-to company for emergency cleanup after storms, fires, and sewage disasters. When the business recently undertook a logo change, it needed updated signage that would introduce the new branding message to the consumer. The business’ management team contacted our signage specialists to get started on handling this task.
Window Graphics and Logo Car Magnets in Placentia, CA
After consulting with the client, we learned that the company intends to break up its signage overhaul into a number of projects to ensure that it maximizes the speed with which the change happens. Of primary importance were the window graphics and vehicle magnets. Since these are the signage products that consumers see most frequently, it made sense to start the re-branding logo change here. We designed, manufactured, and installed window graphics to the glass panes of the business. They display in a half circle, feature the new logo, and imitate the look that the consumer remembers from the website.
Since the Disaster Kleenup/Better Restorations branding symbols may not be easy to read from across the street, we added lettering that spells out the primary reasons (problems associated with water, fire, and mold) why consumers would contact the firm. We displayed the same setup for a second window. A third one features lettering that offers contact information and a menu of services. Car magnets now feature the same presentation, which has allowed the company to get its re-branding message on the road quickly.
Stakebed Truck Vehicle Graphics Heighten the Visibility of the New Branding
Once the magnets and window graphics were completed, the company’s team asked us to treat the firm’s stakebed truck with vehicle graphics. These spell out the emergency response menu and show off the new logo. On three panels on each side, and on one in the back, consumers read the list of services and see the new branding presentation. Contact information rounds out the appearance.
The Importance of Re-branding with Signage
One of the biggest mistakes a business owner tends to make when changing logos, adjusting the colors of displays, updating fonts, or overall re-branding with a new look is the failure to modify the signage quickly. While it makes sense that old and new signage will display side by side for a bit, it is imperative for the switch-over to happen quickly.
Make a mistake here, and customers will be confused at best or fail to recognize your new branding communication as belonging to a business they have already built a relationship with at worst. When we work with clients who underwent a re-branding, we usually recommend a “from the inside out” approach that changes the signage on the inside of the office or storefront first and from there spreads to the exterior. Doing so offers you the advantage of showing off the already well-known logo next to the updated counterpart.
