Each CityScoop columnist gets a CityScoop website customized with their logo, head shot and links to their email and website. You have the control to add additional images, videos, text and links to make your CityScoop articles look very professional. When we set you up as one of our columnists it takes a few hours to get it done. We charge our $200 setup fee to cover the time required to pay an employee to complete your setup and we can’t just use anyone. When setting up your column we have to have someone with a good knowledge of keywords and SEO. We need this same person to have experience with some basic website coding languages. We also need this person to have a knowledge or graphic image manipulation programs like GIMP or Photoshop. So finding the right person isn’t that easy. We have about $150 of the setup fee go toward covering the hourly rate of our setup person and the other $50 goes toward administration. CityScoop starts to profit after you’ve been set up and are fully trained and can log in and post article on your own.
