This is a little bit different of an article than we usually write. The reason is because when I did some research on the San Ramon Insurance Agency I found out that they have been in business for a long time and are one of the most dominant figures on the Internet for San Ramon, California related insurance searches.
So how does CityScoop help someone that’s already a local giant in their market?
Answer: By blasting them to areas in the Internet that they aren’t dominating; by finding new searches to go after; by featuring articles that talk about all their various products, like home, auto, life and business insurance, and to rank for those searches; and by targeting other local cities to broadcast their services and information to new markets.
If you search for insurance agent San Ramon, guess who you’ll find? If you search for San Ramon Insurance agency, guess who you’ll find? If you search for auto insurance San Ramon guess who you’ll find?
But what if you search for life insurance Danville ca? Or auto insurance Dublin ca?
Here’s where we finally don’t find the San Ramon Insurance Agency…not yet.

Got A Sick Computer? There’s a shop in Pleasant Hill, CA That Happens To Be The Best
July 29, 2009

Is your computer sick?
- Is it coughing up dust balls from years of being stuck in that corner in your office?
- Is it moving slow like a sloth?
- Does your computer seem like it has less power and strength than someone with mono?
- Does your computer’s sickness, make you hate your life?
Well, heck. Mine has. I can remember seriously wanting to throw my computer out the window and just put it out of it’s misery.
Thankfully I was talked down off the edge of the building by my brother. He showed me how to make my computer get better. I learned that you can save a sick computer. And fairly easily too.
So don’t let you’re inner desires to kill your computer take over. Take a deep breath and call a computer repair shop that you know is good. You can save a lot of money, which we’re all trying to do right now.
If you’re looking for a good computer repair shop in the Pleasant Hill area, and the entire Bay Area for that matter, there is only one that I recommend - Computer Sales and Service in Pleasant Hill, CA. This company, owned and run by Wade Cantrell, is the best in the area. In fact, the San Francisco Chronicle thinks so too. But I’m sure my word and recommendation is just as strong. (Yeah right!)
“In 2007, the San Francisco Chronicle ranked Computer Sales and Service shop the #1 in the Bay Area based on overall performance and price index.”
To me, that says it all.

Are you planning on moving any time soon? If you are and you’re located near the Concord, California area you should take a look at Anderson Bros Movers. Anderson Bros is a company that started out in San Francisco once upon a time. I say once upon a time because they opened for business in 1976. And I’m 28 years old. So at least to me, that’s a really long time.
Now located in Martinez, CA, Anderson Bros Movers services the Contra Costa County area. If you visit their website you’ll find some very good testimonials about their workmanship as well as their team’s character.
But one of the many things that separates Anderson Bros from all the the others is they are agents for Hawaii Express, which services the Hawaiian islands. That means that if you live here in the Bay Area, and you’re planning on moving to Hawaii (which if you are, we all don’t like you anyways, so you should hurry up and move) then you should call up Anderson Bros Movers. They can help you get yourself and all your stuff to your tropical paradise.
Unlike those of us that are jealously stuck here on then main land, Anderson Bros will be very nice to you and make your move as smooth as possible. So if you’re headed to Hawaii, call Anderson Bros Movers, mention CityScoop, and have a great time (you lucky little)…
Anderson Bros Movers are CityScoop experts. They publish free tips and information about their services and industry at their CityScoop website. You can visit their CityScoop site by clicking the link below:
D And H Spells Great If You’re Looking For An Auto Repair Shop In Martinez, CA
July 22, 2009
By John Kitts, CityScoop Staff Writer

D and H spells…well…nothing of course. But D and H means great in terms of auto repair shops.
Hard work and perseverance is the story of this auto repair shop. In 1995 Dave Kemnitz, the owner of D and H Enterprises, opened the doors for business. He began with a small auto shop with only two service bays on a quiet little street in Concord, California. And times weren’t easy in the beginning…
Originally D and H Enterprises started out as a partnership with two owners of the business. But that first year was tough and eventually Dave’s partner stepped out of the business. And many people would have probably followed right along out the door. But not Dave. Dave stuck with it, hard-headed and determined, to make the business a success.
Over 15 years later he has a thriving business with 9 service bays and 2 buildings on one of the busiest streets in Concord, CA.
It’s sort of a rags to riches, little engine that could story. And it says a lot about the type of work eithic and skill that you get when you take your car to D and H Enterprises. Bottom line, you get a team that will stop at nothing to solve your problem; an experienced team; a hard working team.
So if you live in the Martinez, California area you might want to consider D and H Enterprises for work on your vehicles. Especially if you have a Jeep. They are great with all makes and model, but were Jeep specialists for many years before opening up to all makes and models. D and H is located in Concord, CA, but it might be worth the drive if you live in Martinez.
D and H Enterprises are CityScoop local experts. They publish free information and tips about auto repair at their CityScoop website. You can visit their CityScoop website for more information about D and H by clicking the link below:

An Ideally Located Assisted Living Facility In Fremont, CA That Specializes In Alzheimer’s And Dementia Care
July 15, 2009
By John Kitts, CityScoop Staff Writer

__________________________________________________________________________________
Emeritus at Atherton Court in Fremont, CA is a unique assisted living facility in a few ways. For one, they specialize in dementia and Alzheimer’s care. But what first might jumps out at me is their location and convenience.
Located in a residential area of Fremont, CA, Emeritus at Atherton Court has a quieter feel. The beautiful landscaping surrounding the facility helps to encourage the feeling calm of tranquility. But, it’s not in the boon docks either, nor boring. It’s conveniently located close to freeway 880 as well as Washington Mutual, US Bank, Wells Fargo, and Bank of America. For shopping you’ll find Target, Wal-Mart, Long Drugs, Office Max, Walgreen’s and Borders near by. Also very important to have nearby is a hospital. There are a few hospitals located within short driving distance including Washington Hospital, Kaiser Permanente and a nursing home rehabilitation facility if ever needed.
And it’s fun. They have a great activities program that aims to make sure that your loved one experiences their favorite things in life every day.
The location is great, the activities are essential, and it’s nice to have all the facilities close to home, but what separates Emeritus at Atherton Court from other assisted living or retirement home facilities is their specialization with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia care. It takes a special kind of staff to adequately love and care for elderly with memory loss diseases.
What really jumped out and grabbed my attention was their unique approach to helping people LIVE with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease. Residents and families. They have a very unique approach that they call, “Join Their Journey.” The idea of “Join Their Journey” is to create an environment for those with memory loss conditions, (dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, etc), that’s familiar to them and in which they can continue to live life to the fullest.
Emeritus at Atherton Court creates specially designed “memory care neighborhoods.” In each memory care neighborhood, a different setting is designed around the resident’s needs and familiarities, memories, hobbies, recreation, activities and more.
“Within this environment, our highly trained staff joins residents in their moment, rather than trying to bring them into our reality.”
The other part of “Join Their Journey” is getting to know the family and helping the family to better understand their loved one’s condition. Part of being able to create a comfortable and familiar environment is getting to know the families or the residents and where they come from, the things they liked, etc.
Also part of living with memory loss is helping the family to live with it as well. Emeritus at Atherton Court offers support groups and education programs to help the family better understand what their loved one is going through, and in turn, be able to better help their loved ones, and themselves.
Great people. Great location. Great approach.

Honest Advice From A Construction Consultant In Oakland, CA

Whether you have an existing home with structural issues or getting ready to build a home, add an addition or seismic retrofit, you’re undertaking a big project; a very expensive project too. So you want to know all your options. Well here’s one you might not have heard about - a Construction Consultant.
A construction consultant can be seen as a third party, unbiased opinion. That’s where Anderberg Consulting comes in. A typical contractor that gives you a bid on your project may not give you a bid that is completely in your favor. So if you want another opinion from someone who doesn’t have any stake in the game, then you might consider a construction consultant. By having someone on your side, you can educate yourself with some valuable general knowledge that can be extremely beneficial to your desired end results.
Tom Anderberg has a B.S. in Aeronautical & Astronautical Engineering from the University of Illinois, which he earned in 1971. After running a structural construction firm in the East Bay Area from 1973 to 1995, Tom Anderberg started Anderberg Construction Consulting Company, Inc., a structural consulting firm specializing in residential Drainage Systems, Foundations, Settlement, Underpinning, Seismic Retrofitting, Retaining Walls, Hillside Stabilization and Water Intrusion Issues.
Tom Anderberg is a CityScoop local expert. He publishes free information about construction consulting issues that many homeowners are concerned about. You can visit his CityScoop website by clicking the link below:

They say that the sex is the glue. And coming from divorced parents I kind of have to agree. As soon as the intimacy is gone it seems that the relationship often crumbles. Slowly but surely or all at once like a grand finale at a fireworks show - they all seem to crumble. But there is a potential savior. There might be a way to avoid all the lost time, money, emotions and not to mention the financial pains that come with divorce.
If the ship’s going down it’s going down. But if there were a last chance effort that just might work, would you give it a try? Would you grab the lifesaver?
That’s how I see relationship counseling. You have a specialist who is familiar with realtionship issues and also really knows the human mind and body. You have someone who might be able to act as a jump-start to a engine that was once turning; someone that can be the flint, when all there is left is cold steel.
Doctor Pamela D. Rogers is a relationship counselor located in San Francisco and serving the greater Bay Area. She has a doctorate in human sexuality from the Institute for the Advanced Study of Human Sexuality and a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Akron. She’s a professional sexologist who may really be able to help save your relationship or even marriage.
- Learn how to communicate more effectively.
- Improve your physical and intimate abilities.
- Bring back the lust to a long-term relationship.
- Enhance your dating and relationship skills.

Join the NBA! The Nurse Builder’s Academy - Nursing School In San Jose, CA
July 6, 2009
By John Kitts, CityScoop Staff Writer

Come and join the NBA! Sounds like fun. But it’s not the National Basketball Association, it’s the Nurse Builder’s Academy!
If you’re actively searching for a nursing school in the San Jose, CA area, or are thinking about going to nursing school, you should take a look at the NBA. They have classes in the day and night; during the week and on the weekends. So there should most likely be classes that won’t conflict with your schedule. As long as they aren’t filled already.
If you’re looking for a school to become a CNA, you can get certified at the Nurse Builder’s Academy. A CNA, if you’re just starting to research nursing school, is a Certified Nursing Assistant, one who has taken the courses and has passed the necessary tests to achieve the certification and title of CNA.
If you take a tour of the facility at the Nurse Builder’s Academy you will find more than four classrooms with a separate lab area for demonstrations and hands on training. They have a mock hospital room with a bed and dummy patient to practice on before you ever deal with a real patient.
If you’re thinking about going to nursing school, shop around. Google it. See what comes up. Then make a decision. Go down to the NBA and see their facility. Check out others and weigh your options because this is a big decision. It’s a decision that can change your life. It’s a decision that you will remember forever.
And if you’re ready…they’re ready for you.
